SUPPORT TO CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS
FOR BETTER SOCIAL INCLUSION OF INFORMAL WASTE PICKERS- EXTENDED UNTIL 6 DECEMBER 2024
With the support of the Government of Switzerland, the Programme "PRO - Local Governance for People and Nature" will, through a Public Call, support at least 10 local civil society organizations in implementing integrated services that combine at least two of the four thematic areas: employment, social protection, education and health.
The approximate budget is $150,000, while the maximum amount per project is $15,000.
The topics of project proposals can be economic empowerment through various measures for better employability or self-employment, as well as better access to intersectoral services in the field of health, education and social protection.
The implementation of the activities within the proposed interventions will last for a maximum of 12 months, with the fact that the employment measures must last at least three months, and the intersectoral service must be provided for at least eight months.
The public call was organized through a transparent and competitive process, and the selection of beneficiaries will be made by evaluating and ranking the submitted project proposals. In order for interested CSOs to learn all the details of the public call - including how to apply, project selection criteria and allowed costs, the PRO Programme will organize two information sessions via the Internet according to the following schedule:
