Support for Protection of Waste Pickers` Livelihoods
Through the Programme "PRO - Local Governance for People and Nature", the Swiss government supports the implementation of 10 local self-government projects aimed at improving the economic position of informal waste pickers and improving their access to public services relevant to social inclusion in the context of the modernization of the waste management system.
Enhancing the Application of Good Governance Principles in 12 Local Governments
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the SCTM and 12 LGs selected with the aim to enhance capacities needed for the application of good governance principles in everyday practice, was organised on February 29, 2024 in Belgrade, with the support of the Swiss Government through the Programme "PRO - Local Governance for People and Nature".
